June Favourites: Best Iced Coffee Recipes for Keeping Cool During Summer

Sometimes, during summer, you just don’t fancy a steaming hot brew, yet you still crave the deliciousness of the great coffee bean.

Temperatures have certainly heated up during June and summer is well underway. Because of this, we set about finding some of the most delicious iced coffee recipes out there, perfect for a summer brew. We’ve compiled a list of our favourite drinks during June.

Caramel Vanilla Iced Coffee


For this sweet treat you will need half a glass of medium roast coffee, whether you’ve made this via  Bean-to-Cup Coffee Machine, a Filter Coffee Machine or even a Capsule Coffee Machine, any will do. You will also need around a tablespoon of caramel syrup and a dash of vanilla creamer.

Simply prepare your coffee as you would normally, save half and add to it a squeeze of the caramel syrup before adding some vanilla creamer to taste. Stir well and throw in some ice cubes. It’s as simple as that!

Mint Iced Coffee


In many ways, this delicious concoction is rather like a virgin mojito. You will need some cooled down light roast coffee, ice cubes, either milk or light cream (the choice is entirely yours) and some fresh mint.

Take your chilled coffee – for best results, chill the brew in the fridge overnight – and mix with the milk/cream and ice cubes before finishing with a sprig of mint. The perfect cold refreshing coffee drink for when the sun gets too much.

Iced Banana Mocha


This recipe is so delicious, we’re fairly confident we could drink it all year round and never get sick, think banana chocolate milkshake with strong coffee undertones. For this beauty you require, two shots of freshly brewed espresso from any Espresso Coffee Machine, 20ml of banana syrup, 20ml of chocolate syrup, 250ml of cold milk – either skimmed or semi-skimmed, some ice cubes, whipped cream and half a sliced banana.

Simply add the espresso shots, syrups, milk and ice into a blender and whizz until smooth. Pour the mixture into a glass before finishing with a dollop of whipped cream, a drizzle of chocolate syrup and a topping of those banana slices.

Thai Iced Coffee

For this sweet alternative to traditional iced coffee you’re going to need two freshly brewed espressos, 200ml of sweetened condensed milk and 150ml of either semi-skimmed or skimmed milk.

Begin by chilling the two espressos, stir the two milks together until smooth and then chill this mixture. When both liquids are both chilled, pour them into a glass filled with ice and enjoy.

Raspberry Iced Coffee


A delicious, refreshing and fruity brew. What else could you want to cool you down during summer? For this drink you will need one cup of chilled medium roast coffee, 50ml of whole or semi-skimmed milk, half a tea spoon of raspberry syrup and a handful of frozen raspberries.

Use your Bean-to-Cup Coffee Machine, Filter Coffee Machine or Capsule Coffee Machine to produce a medium roast brew before chilling this. Once cooled, mix in the milk and raspberry syrup. Pour this into a tall glass filled with ice cubes and the frozen raspberries. Enjoy!
